    Saturday February 23, 2013 marks the second year that Yoga for Hope will be held in  B.C.  
    It will be conveniently located at the Minoru Sports Pavillion in Richmond at 7191 Granville Ave.

    Morning Programme 

     8:00 am

    RISE AND SHINE FLOW - This beautiful morning Flow includes seated meditation to invite grounding and centering, Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) to wake the senses and the body and encourage openness in the mind, inner and physical body.  Begin this precious day with lightness in your body, a clear mind, a strong supported foundation in your grounding to open up to new possibilities.

     9:00 amPARMI PLUS GENTLE SANTOSHA FLOW - A gentle and relaxing flow,  this class has lots of modifications geared for beginners and larger body types, and a great opportunity for advanced students to slow things down and connect with gratitude(Santosha).Patricia Parsons
    10:00 amSRI POWER A dynamic and challenging sequence of postures that synchronizes breath with movement in order to build strength, balance, and flexibility.  All levels welcome, we will build postures in sequential stages.  All students will leave feeling refreshed and bright!Alex Atherton
     11:00 amKUNDALINI YOGACome chant, meditate, move and relax. Feel the shift.  Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness consists of active and passive poses, breath work, and meditations which target the whole body system to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength.Vick Strom

     3 pmPLAYING THE EDGES - Persistence and patience, courage and playfulness, reaching for limits and honoring the body's subtle messages of when to back off or play at a different edge.Ambre Rippon

    HATHA YOGA FLOW - Experience tranquility in this class.  Participants perform yoga poses designed to stretch and strengthen the body and expand the mind. Breathing techniques and positive affirmations help boost your immune system.
